Speech is transcribed by a speech-recognition model that runs inside your browser, in 15 languages. The first time, Summit downloads the model (about 40 to 150 MB), so you need an internet connection. After that it is cached. Every caption stays editable before you export.
Video in MP4, WebM or MOV, audio in MP3, WAV, M4A or OGG, and images in PNG, JPG or WebP. A file opens if your browser can play it: iPhone HEVC video, for example, may not open in every browser.
Summit is built for laptops and desktops. It opens on tablets and phones, but a bigger screen with a mouse or trackpad gives you the best editing experience.
Yes, in clear cases: an unused 96-Hour Pass within 14 days, any charge taken after you cancelled, a renewal or conversion charge within 14 days if you have not really used Summit since, and any period where Summit did not work because of a fault on our side. The Refund Policy has the details.
